Born in Köln, Germany, on 1957, Gisela Schrader came to know Brazil and its beaches while still a child. It was love at first sight what aroused her desire to put those beaches into canvas.
She has studied art in francophone Switzerland and Germany, as well as in the United States. Back to Brazil, Gisela became a Brazilian citizen in 1983 and developed her own technique in order to accomplish her dream.
